DP9 Convention Plans for 2023
DP9 plans to attend the following Gaming and Anime Conventions in 2023:
Cold Wars 2023
Friday March 10th – Sunday March 12th, 2023

DP9 Staff attending include Robert Dubois, Joseph Johnson, John Tinney, and Paul Campbell. We’ll be running Heavy Gear Blitz Demos at the booth during exhibit hall hours, with gift plastic miniature for players trying a demo. And we’ll be promoting the upcoming Heavy Gear Roleplaying Game 4th Edition Kickstarter. On Friday evening we’ll be running a HGB Tournament (see all details below) and on Saturday Paul with be running two HGB: Drop Ship Down game sessions (see details below).

Description: Dream Pod 9 is having its first ever Official Cold Wars Tournament using the 3.1 Rules!! Come sling dice with your fellow Commanders and Dream Pod Staff (we are ringers only if needed) and quest to be Top Gear Commander until the next time we do this. Total of 3 Games with your army size of 100TV. Scoring is by Victory Points scored from Custom Missions with ties broken by Threat Value killed/crippled. We will also have 5 loaner 100TV armies available for use if necessary, on a first come basis.

Description: Time is of the essence an Earth forces drop ship has crashed, this crash surely won’t do unnoticed for long. Your company’s mission is to investigate the crash site to secure any supplies or intel. Rules taught. Kids welcome with an attending adult.
