HACS-08MG-D SPEARHEAD TIGER#

To keep costs down and make it easier produce, off the shelf components were used and combined into a refit kit that can be applied by technicians in the field. Initial field reports have been promising. Commanders in the UMF theater of operations have provided generally satisfactory comments although technicians have somewhat different feedback. The off the shelf parts, while cheap and easy to acquire, are a new item to maintain in inventory and on the logistics chain and reports of shortages are already cropping up. Additionally the refit kits require more work to mount the new systems on the Tiger body than expected. What was originally quoted as a two day refit averages three and a half days for a full team.
