
Using Specialist Combat Groups in Heavy Gear Blitz!#

These groups may not be given secondary roles, and are only able to be used in armies from the force they come from, unless noted otherwise. They may however have any upgrades permitted by army and sublist rules, so long as the composition requirements are still met. Restrictions on the number of a specific variant apply as normal, for example, if a Specialist Combat Group is taken in the SK role, then model variants without SK+ may only be taken twice.
City Militia Cadre#

Combat Group Composition:#
This combat group must contain between 4 and 8 gears, chosen from the following list:
- 2-4 Asps
- 1-2 Salamanders
- 1-2 Street Vipers
Combat Group Rules:#
Conscription: You may add the Conscript trait to any non-commander, non-veteran and non-duelist in the combat group if they do not already possess the trait. Reduce the TV of these models by 1 TV per action.
Irregulars: Gears in this combat group may purchase the following veteran upgrades for their models without being veterans; Improved Gunnery, Dual Guns, Brawler, or Veteran Melee upgrade.
The combat group is the GP role, regardless of the role of any of its members.
This combat group may be used in any South army.
