Corporal, Crazy Eights To many pilots, being assigned to a Crazy Koala may be seen as a form of punishment, or at least an undesirable but necessary duty, but Mad Adam takes it as a badge of honor. While Dundee has been an effective soldier, leadership is not in the cards, either by stubborn refusal, or lack of followthrough, they have never moved beyond the rank of corporal, and likely never will. Wild even by the standards of the WFPA Crazy Eights, Mad Adam plunges into the densest fighting, forgoing the typical Autocannon, instead bringing an oversized heavy flamethrower. While this weapon is not typically used by Northern forces, Adam pulled it from the wreck of a Cobra, and nobody has dared try to take it away. To ensure they are able to deliver the weapons as necessary, Adam’s squad-mates have insisted that they at the very least bring a shield for some additional protection, both for Adam’s sake, and their own.Fighting style: Mad Adam is perhaps unsurprisingly a close quarters specialist. The Heavy Flamethrower is not only the weapon of choice, it’s hard to get them to fire anything else so long as there is fuel left and enemies in range. There are rumors that they’ve even abandoned their gear when wrecked to pursue enemies on foot, with a home made flamethrower and fuel siphoned from their Koala. Surely, nobody can be that mad… Using New Gears in Heavy Gear Blitz!Introducing new and old gears is one of the great parts of the Extended Content project for blitz. These gears may be used in the armies specified in their description. Sometimes, they’ll count as another gear for rules purposes, since the sublists were written without them in mind. In these cases, they interact with special rules as if they were a gear of the type mentioned. For Example, a Jaguarundi counts as a Jaguar for Rules Purposes, and so may be used in additional roles with the Surplus Jaguars from the Northern Guard rule, Surplus Jaguars. “Mad” Adam Dundee in Heavy Gear Blitz!Mad Adam may only be used in Heavy Gear Blitz! in North forces. Mad Adam counts as a Killer Koala for rules purposes.Model TV Roles MR Arm H/S A GU PI EW React Weapons Mounted Weapons Traits Type Size

Unholy Unity: Mad Adam’s Killer Koala includes the cost of Mad Adam. Do not deploy Mad Adam at the start of the game, instead follow the rule below for Won’t Quit. Mad Adam and the Killer Koala only count as one Action in a combat group. You may take Mad Adam without the Killer Koala, but you may not take the Killer Koala without Mad Adam. Won’t Quit: When Mad Adam’s Killer Koala is destroyed, and as long as it was not over-killed, place Mad Adam on the table in contact with the wrecked Killer Koala. He starts with a hidden token and is always considered to be in light cover until his next activation. When the Mad Adam model activates for the first time, the Hidden token will be removed, and cover will be determined normally. Signature Equipment: This model may not receive any Veteran or Duelist upgrades. Belligerent: This model may not receive any command upgrades. Unique: This model may only be taken once per force.
