Building the Jaguarundi
Now that the Jaguarundi has returned, let’s talk about how you can make your own for your Northern forces. Fortunately, this Gear is easy to make out of readily available parts.
To start, we’re going to use a standard Jaguar body. You can use a pewter or plastic version, for this example I’ll be using the pewter version.
From here, we simply need to use a rapid fire bazooka, and medium rocket pack. Fortunately the Jaguar torso has a rocket mount that can accommodate the medium rocket pack, so really, it’s as easy as assembling a Jaguar with the correct weapons for the profile. The Jaguar two pack comes with MACs and a pair of MRP (for the Fire Jaguar), so you’re good to go on the stock variant. If you want a Fang or a Pathfinder though, you’ll need to get your hands on a MRF or rapid fire bazooka.
If you’re using the plastic kit, a MRP bit is already on the sprue to use for the Fire Jaguar, you’ll just need to source a rapid fire bazooka, which can be found on the plastic Cheetah sprue, or the MAC that comes with the Jaguar already. To get a MRF though you’ll probably need a metal part (unless you have a Peace River friend with a spare).
Parts Used
Here you can see the parts used to convert the Jaguarundi so that you can find them in your bits box, or order the parts you’re missing. Clicking any of them will take you to the store for that component. I hope you have fun converting your own!
